    1. @purpletinker jeez, you okay? Every party pony needs a good break every now and then.

      1. @quetzalcoatl I'm getting right on that 'being okay' stuff. I hear it's pretty tass. Next time, staffers and congoers alike get an 8-hour scheduled sleep window every night. Radical concept. New technology. SLEEP: New from Tinker Labs.

        1. @purpletinker that would help. Alot.

        2. @purpletinker I don't need sleep, I have my own special brew of coffee.

            1. @purpletinker Actually, right now I have a 32oz. mug here full of espresso that I double brew... I don't recommend it for everyone, especially if you have a heart condition, are prone to seizures, pregnant, driving, operating heavy equipment, light equipment or no equipment.

              1. @colfax what, are you trying to do like Fry did in that one episode of Futurama?

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:41:38 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                1. @quetzalcoatl @jinroh I'm aiming more for what Hammy did in the Over the Hedge movie.

                  1. @colfax Hehe sounds like fun. Good luck on your quest!

                    1. @jinroh Yeah, thanks, I just need to figure out a way to keep my clothes from bursting into flames when I finally manage it tough.

                      1. @colfax Good luck! Clothes en fuego es no bueno. Maybe pre-soak yourself.

                        1. @jinroh I might give it try with a nomex flightsuit and see what happens.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:56:30 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                          1. @colfax That works, or you could be 20% cooler and wear an asbestos suit around all day. XD

                            1. @jinroh Nomex doesn't give you cancer...

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:58:30 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                              1. @colfax Well it would be 20% cooler. XD

              2. @colfax That should adequately wake you up. I've had 2 cups of regular coffee, about 10 oz each and I'm still tired. :( Next up is Diet Coke for lunch. XD

                1. @jinroh try out some Cuban coffee. You're supposed to drink it in small espresso cups, but you could go and try it in a regular coffee cup, giving you about six servings in one go.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:44:27 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                  1. @quetzalcoatl I shall have to try it sometime. ^^ Though at work here, all we get is *shudder* Maxwell House. I'll have to buy some and slip it into the coffee machine. Then I'll be pleased at watching everypony else jittering around all day. XD

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:46:46 UTC from web
                    1. @jinroh you need a special machine for it. And a little metal cup.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:47:27 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                      1. @quetzalcoatl Ah whiskers. I need something strong you can brew in a standard coffee machine.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:48:14 UTC from web
                        1. @jinroh i think that if you were to put Cuban coffee in a standard machine, you'd create an explosion big enough to slaughter the entire universe.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:49:37 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                          1. @quetzalcoatl Nope, my Cuisinart still works fine, though it did cause a larger drain on the reactor and an increase in coolant temperature.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:51:05 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                            1. @colfax huh, cuisinarts must be stronger nowadays.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:51:40 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                              1. @quetzalcoatl Too, mine's been modified a bit, now it weighs in at about half a ton without the shield plates... turns out you can get really cheap parts from old decomissioned chinese nuclear powerplants.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:54:38 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                          2. @quetzalcoatl Haha, that is my new contingency plan. XD Should Zombie Ponies every overrun us all, that is what I shall do.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:51:18 UTC from web
                            1. @jinroh zombie ponies -> kill everything that ever was. I fear your thoughts.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:52:41 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                              1. @quetzalcoatl Haha, as do I. That's why I now have a contingency plan. XD

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:54:34 UTC from web
              3. @colfax If I drank that much coffee, I'd wake up in Equestria. (N.b.: I operate on the theory that Equestria is where good ponies go when they die.)

                2. @purpletinker I tend to cut back when things start to blueshift, but one of these days...

Monday, 26-Sep-11 15:49:08 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                  1. @colfax I usually only ease up on the caffeine after I've gone to Plaid.

Monday, 26-Sep-11 16:09:36 UTC from web
    2. @purpletinker And, with that, congratulations on a successful convention. :) Now, the aftermath.
