                  1. @mrdragon Hah - yeah, we're down about 50 degrees right now (or so I'm told) - wasn't any wind today; so that's helpful. It's only going to get colder from here on out.

                      1. @mrdragon Just got an exam in my intro to Electrical and Computer Engineering course. Otherwise just lectures today. Test doesn't look too bad based on the review sheet given.

                        1. @haganbmj Sounds like a easy one to be honest, as for me. Just sitting at home on my papayas, getting some research in to creating a online hosting business.

                          1. @mrdragon Sounds like a good way to spend a free day. Are you considering starting one of your own? ~ And yeah, the test is just basic principles and such.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 15:45:22 UTC from web
                            1. @haganbmj yes, starting my own. I have the space and hardware to do it, just need to get the legal and business side sorted. Of which I will be in discussion about tomorrow.

                              1. @mrdragon Sounds like an excellent route. Are there a number of restrictions and regulations to work with?

Monday, 03-Oct-11 15:49:16 UTC from web
                                1. @haganbmj I'm not a hundred percent sure yet, due to it being a online company, I would just need a T&C as well as a backend ruling. Taxes and the such would be based per company the servers are located, and at this time it's in the UK. So we need to look at that first.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 15:50:19 UTC from web
                                  1. @mrdragon Right right. Hopefully the setup of such isn't too rough.

                                    1. @haganbmj I can't think it is, the hardest part will be to get going, after that it's just patience and dedicated work.

                                        2. @ceruleanspark I need to get revenue and all that first before I can even think of expanding in that way.

                                      2. @mrdragon Yeah - maintenance and getting the information out there. Do you know of anyone that would be purchasing space right off the bat?

                                        1. @haganbmj Not as of yet, I've not gotten to that stage yet. Wanting to get the boring details out before I work with the fine tuning and math sides.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 15:57:02 UTC from web
                                          1. @mrdragon Mhm - that makes sense.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 15:57:47 UTC from web
                                            1. @haganbmj Mmhm, that it does. Once I get all that sorted as well, then I need to keep in mind the future of it all. Whilst I'm more of a let it go, see what happens and fix it as it happens. Something this large I need a strategy to go off, as in were do I see myself in a year sort of thing.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:00:04 UTC from web
                                              1. @mrdragon Yeah - looking ahead to the future. Are you planning to have a website set up and advertised? Or is there a better strategy on that side of things that you're considering.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:01:07 UTC from web
                                                1. @haganbmj A site will be a good idea, very good idea. But to start with, just slap the word around, get a few ponies I know to spread it around. Get the general idea spread so that ponies know about it, get a site worked around that basis for a later date. Not to late, but not straight away.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:02:30 UTC from web
                                                  1. @mrdragon Ah alright - word of mouth to start with. Seems like a fine idea to keep things regulated and organized.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:03:26 UTC from web
                                                    1. @haganbmj Indeed. Get it all going, then work from there. No point going out and buying things that I don't need, work around the people who will be buying, if they need it then get it for them to make their lives easier.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:04:56 UTC from web
                                                      1. @mrdragon Yeah that sounds like a solid business plan. Don't overextend before you're sure you can I suppose.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:05:51 UTC from web
                                                        1. @haganbmj Indeed, Hitler taught me that when he invaded to fast to far. He outstretched his resources to the point were there was to many weak points, I know it's not the best example to give. However that's when I started to take notes of these things when I learnt about that.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:07:36 UTC from web
                                                          1. @mrdragon Nah, it's a very valid example though - and the whole point of looking at history hah.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:08:42 UTC from web
                                                            1. @haganbmj It's the only thing I actually stayed interested in was the whole WWII thing :3 it's got a lot of examples as to what you don't do, not in the terms of the war I mean, but by actions and strategies.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:09:48 UTC from web
                                                              1. @mrdragon Oh yeah - not just military workings, it's a lot of general examples. WW2 history great.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:11:28 UTC from web
                                                                1. @haganbmj Indeed it is, gave the world a kick in the grapes but it shrugged it off and continued to became this... Pile of rubbish it is now. It's amazing, we look at history and are supposed to learn from it. But if anything, we seem to have forgotten a lot of it.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:12:28 UTC from web
                                                                  1. @mrdragon Mhm - nothing really moves forward as a result of past mistakes and actions. It just kinda happens again.. in a different form.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:18:09 UTC from web

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:18:56 UTC from web

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:19:47 UTC from web

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:20:35 UTC from web
                                                                        2. @haganbmj Yep, so long as their is life there will always be war. No matter who or what it is, somepony out there will always have a different view. There cannot be a good without evil, or evil without good. Sad, but it's the way it works really. Peace can come, but it is never forever.

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:21:33 UTC from web

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:22:38 UTC from web

Monday, 03-Oct-11 16:23:32 UTC from web
