I don't write so much as I arrange, I've yet to write something from scratch, but I wrote all the arranges for the piano trio in which I used to play.

@pizzicato I usually wait till writing something is all I can think of. That is when you attack! Though, for me i'm not usually where I need to be when I feel that urge to create.

@knoxemerald I wait until something starts playing in my head, then I ask myself 'Wait. Is my brain playing something that's been done and I've heard before, or is it playing something that hasn't been done, and I want to hear?'. If it's the latter, I start writing it down, and expand on it from there.

@knoxemerald Things are playing in my head, but nothing original. The most I have right know is a bass guitar line for Winter Wrap Up. Which I air-play on the stand up bass but in my head it plays back as a bass guitar.
