    2. @purplephish20 I don't do pencil art much but I would say if you don't have a lot of money just get some crayola ones if its less expensive. It would be better to have more colors than a few colors of good pencils. Then when you get better at it you can invest in high quality pencils.

      1. @dmtactical Hmm... Cool thanks! But quick before i go to sleep :::::SOMEPONY READ THIS!!!!!!!::::: does proper sketching paper (that oil stuff) make a difference? Does it effect drawing? My guess is it would bind pencil lead quicker and stop it smudging. Im willing to spend money as i love doing it, its like....meditation, to sketch things.

        1. @purplephish20 As compared to printer paper, I'd rather draw on sketch paper. Idk about smudging, but IMO it has a better feel when you draw on it, hard to explain. I wouldn't get like a whole ream of it if you don't know much about it but maybe grab some or get some kind of sketch pad with removable sheets.
