!vancouverbronies Anyone else here read Fallout Equestria? Its an amazing MLP/Fallout fanfiction. Also the spin off "Project Horizon" is also really good.

@redtie Yeah, I read Fo:E. Haven't checked out Project Horizons yet, though.

@tequilasunrise project horizon was written by a different person but set in the same world, and man its just as good as Fo:E.

@redtie Haven't been able to pick Project Horizon's yet, finishing up A New Breed. What is it about? I do enjoy FO:E though.

@fallinwinter project horizon is set in the same universe as FO:E but in a place called hoofington. Main character is Blackjack from stable 99...and wow does it get good.

@redtie I'll get around to it eventually. Ponyfiction is what gets me through the hours of waiting in between classes.

@fallinwinter the funniest part for me is the sexual frustration the main characters in FO:E deals with. I didn't think i'd like that kind of comedy but I did.

@redtie I just enjoy the ability to make me like the characters enough that I feel for them as much as I do. Granted the whole grimdark apocalyptic wasteland helps a lot. I enjoy Lilpip's colorful vocabulary a lot.

@redtie Yeah, the fact that it's written so well adds to my constant love for the story. I suppose my favorite character would be Lilpip, although I honestly love each character a lot. Just like it'd be hard to judge the mane six very far from each other.

@redtie That one chapter though, was so utterly depressing. I'd cry, and then finally be okay, then cry again, then be okay, then cry over and over again.

@fallinwinter Does anyone know just how long this is in word count? I recently finished Anna Karenina and want to know if this is close to matching it in length.

@redtie This is why I prefer calling it a novel, considering it could very well be one if printed and bound.

@fallinwinter This could literally be one of the best works of fanfiction I have ever read. I hate to make that statement though since I haven't read alot of fanfiction. Isn't a shame that something like this cant get world wide notice?

@redtie Well I've read only two other series (both fanfiction, one a different show, the other a game) that I could actually say were this remotely planned out and were able to fit well into the show. (One continued after the show's timeline, the other one did past, present, and future)

@redtie Cool. Is it colder up there? I'm not very fond of the heat here. Even our winters are warm enough to swim in even if it's colder than normal.

@fallinwinter Iam on the pacific coast. Vancouver. we get very little snow, but TONS of rain. good thing I love the rain.

@redtie Meh, as long as the rain makes things cooler, I wouldn't mind. Often the rain here just makes things insanely muggy.

@redtie of course dude, as soon as they come out i read them, like RIGHT THEN lol. but i gotta say i'm not a fan of project horizons, that extra grittyness kinda turned me off it after a few chapters

@redtie Yeah, I'll probably pick it up one of these days. Fo:E is starting to stretch on a bit, but I'm still enjoying it.
