      1. @mrdragon I've got a few I'm looking forward to, but that doesn't matter when you're broke.

Thursday, 13-Oct-11 10:27:38 UTC from web
        1. @fallinwinter I'd say we're in the same boat, I'm not broke. Just need to be cautious on what I buy.

          1. @mrdragon Well as far as sustainability, I'm fine. Just nothing left to spend on games and stuff. I might trade in some games for Dark Souls when I finish the couple games I'm playing now.

    7. @rotation I can count at least 5+ games I'm interested in (not counting the two games I've already paid for and have reserved)

    8. @rotation I certainly intend to. GT5 was an abortion, and I've got a hankering for a sim that doesn't suck.

    9. @rotation That game is WORTH full price. It's amazing.

Thursday, 13-Oct-11 10:34:43 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
    10. @rotation Some people enjoyed it, but I personally played it and wasn't for me.

      1. @fallinwinter YOU ARE A BAD GAMER AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD. Do you just not like FPS's in general, or was there some other aspect of DE:HR that you didn't like?

Thursday, 13-Oct-11 10:37:12 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
        1. @ceruleanspark I enjoy FPS's, and I liked the whole Steampunk/Futuristic feel, I just found that there was rarely a point in incapacitating enemies and being sneaky when a single pistol shot could drop them with far less effort. It doesn't help that they made each incapacitation linked to an energy bar. By the first boss, I had a sort of a silent gun toting character with a few strength buffs to get around the shortcuts. Stealth seemed entirely pointless when they put you in a tiny room with hardly any cover and a guy toting a gattling gun. TL;DR I liked the concept/story and it started off okay, but it got a bit bland when I found out stealth wound up either unnecessary or implausible.

          1. @fallinwinter The NPC dialogue changes if you don't kill anyone, and there's an achievement for it. There are also nonlethal weapons that don't use the energy gauge. I did a stealth-pacifist run and had a great time with it, so it might just be down to taste.

            1. @ceruleanspark I know there were changes and achievements involved with the stealth play through (which is why I was saving that for a second one), but it felt like looting mixed with solo Mass Effect meh shooter. I won't say it's a bad game and I may have just been doin' it wrong, but it just didn't seem like my game.

    11. @rotation It sold millions. That's an anomalously low price.
