People really need to learn that not everyone from the UK speaks with a cockney accent. I mean, you don't hear me putting glottal stops in every second word, so why would you assume I'm from that area of London? Same goes for RP accents. Goddamn it people, I have an estuary accent, is that SO hard to grasp?

@lifegospel cor blimey, gov! No need to get in a Barney! Apples and Pears... and various other fruit.

@pawnheart ..... That just may be the most offensive thing I've heard in a long time. But it made me laugh, so I'll forgive you... You bloody yank.

@lifegospel Sorry, didn't realise you were from London! ... should have taken in that 'estuary' bit... I'm English, btw.
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:26:19 UTC from web-
@pawnheart Ah, then I apologize for calling you a yank, I just thought you were poking fun at my accent.
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:27:09 UTC from web-
@lifegospel No, that really wasn't the intention! I apologise for any offence caused by the way... I was just trying to be amusing by pretending all of us really do have a Cockney accent and use unnecessary levels of rhyming slang.

@pawnheart Well NOW I get that. Still, it made me chuckle. Anyways, mum got a job with a hospital down here, so we move down about.. erm... 4 years ago? Blimey, was it really that long?

@lifegospel How you finding it? We have relatives over there, never visited, though.
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:32:27 UTC from web-
@pawnheart Ehh, it's pretty bril, I guess. Bit more crowded than I'm used to, though. Back home we could always take a stroll just outside the city, but here (Calgary, btw) it's not like that at all.

@lifegospel Cool! Nice folk in general?
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:35:49 UTC from web-
@pawnheart I guess so. Lotta' twats though, I tell you.

@lifegospel Whereabouts in London do you hail from originally?
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:38:01 UTC from web-
@pawnheart Northampton. and yourself?

@lifegospel Why are there never any North East UK Bronies o.O
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:43:57 UTC from web-
@mrdragon Well I know a few blokes around Durham, that's in the north-east, right?
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:46:54 UTC from web-
@lifegospel There's Bronies that close! o.O They need to get on here, I'm on the other side of Newcastle, Hexham 20 miles west of Newcastle.
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:48:37 UTC from web-
@mrdragon Ehh, I'm not so sure about that, mate. They don't really... approve of the brony community. Most of them are just in it because of Mrs. Faust.

@lifegospel Oh! Just outside Leicester... a few years up in Glasgow, and then back to the same place. Northampton's not too far off...
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:44:11 UTC from web-
@pawnheart Ooh, really? I visited Leicester once. Brilliant scenery.
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:47:41 UTC from web-
@lifegospel ...really? Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it. the county's nice. Kinda flat, but pleasant, I find... the city is a bit... well... its okay.
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:49:47 UTC from web-
@pawnheart Yeah, I guess I just consider myself more of a country bloke. Not that I don't like the city, mind you.
Friday, 14-Oct-11 09:52:50 UTC from web-
@lifegospel I feel the same. I've been living in a city kinda environment most of my life... and the open countryside just makes me feel so much better.
