ideally items of networking equipment should not be hot enough to burn me when I try to handle them

@ceruleanspark Yes, I don't believe that it should be that warm.
-
@jinny Especially as it's passively cooled.
-
@ceruleanspark ouch i know how that one goes. A week ago i had to set up a new server at my job and they dont have an ac unit for that room. I was baking like muffins over at sugarcube corner
-
@ceruleanspark Oh yes, well, don't let it catch on fire. I think that's the last thing you need on top of the other garbage you have to put up with. T_T
-
@starbuck23 Well, this place is better set up than it was when I got here. They'd balanced a water-based air conditioner on the shelf ABOVE their servers. A shelf they'd built themselves. Out of wood.
-
@ceruleanspark Why would they think thats a good idea?!
-
@ceruleanspark Oh my, they really planned that out well, didn't they?
-
@starbuck23 I am not convinced that "Thought" factored into that particular decision making process at all.
-
@ceruleanspark Sorry forgot my[/sarcasm] :3
