    @tigerdusk I'm debating whether I want to ride up island and cross at Departure Bay, or whether I want to take the ferry from Sidney. I know the route if I go up island and across, but it's much further. If I cross at Sidney, I have to drive through most of the lower mainland to get to Burnaby, and I've never done that before.

      @drewdle hmm... if you do want to take the shorter route I suggest really looking up the routes and stuff. Though sticking to what you know is definatly safer. Lol I had a gf on the island so I know what it's like comming to a complete change of scenary.
