@pinhooves Well, I finally worked up the courage to tell my more open-minded parent that I'm tg. It looks as if she's fine with it, so I'm feeling very happy with myself for that. Soon after, I go and get something to drink from the store down the road, and I come back to find a cherries-storm erupted on Twitter. Someone who I thought was a friend said some really disrespectful things to me about it. Thanks to him, I almost had a panic attack.
