@jinny Yeah. I'm not usually very good at tuning out. I'm always thinking, twitching, planning, doing. I mean, I'm on RDN now, but for the first time all day, there's nothing else. Just a comfy couch and the laptop. *smiles and !hugs* You're more than welcome to the title, frankly. You're always on here being kindly to somepony.

@tenmihara the group. i want atleast 1 earth pony, a unicorn and a pegasi...but that causes issues. any pegasi must be a damurdock just because of how the FO:E stories go.

@tenmihara another thing for my story is that the two main main characters will be earth ponies instead of unicorns.

@redtie What if you left a pegasus out? Or maybe a ghoul.

@tenmihara what if...there was a stable for pegasi...and they kinda lost the ability to fly since they were cooped up for 200 years.

@redtie I don't think that would fly (pun intended). According to FoE; Rainbow Dash was the only living Pegasus who stayed below the Cloud Barrier (until Scootaloo became the first Daapples at least)

@tenmihara good point. hmm. keeping them out as much as possible could be interesting. Maybe get some good jokes of the main character trying to understand what a pegasis actually is.

@redtie that doesn't make too much sense either. All of the stables encountered thus far have had education areas, and most Stable Dwellers know OF Pegasi, even if they'd never seen one

@redtie I'm good at pointing out flaws, but not so much at suggesting improvements, especially if I'm not sure what direction the story is meant to take

@tenmihara hmm. i think i'd start it off with the two characters leaving the stable and struggling with how weird everything is. this might sound stupid for a FO:E story but focus more on just the characters issues to start with before any big world changing event takes place. but it will probably be the two mains (the guy and girl) trying to find out why there stable was just completely wrong and different. The message there overmare/overstallion had from stable-tec was not from scootaloo.

@redtie Another important thing to consider is the character's motivations. Why do they care about the Stable's directives? What do they want to accomplish? For example, Ditzy Doo is described by Littlepip as amazingly kind and generous, so her first and foremost goal is to help others. In the case of my chronicles, the very first thing she does after Cloudsdale's destruction is try to find other survivors

@tenmihara for the characters i believe there motivation will be the search for truth. There stable is beyond messed up, and isn't right. Although at first i want them to "want" to leave the stable seeking adventure. (all other fallout equestria stories have the characters forced out of stables. I wanted to do that differently andmake them want to leave)

@redtie Littlepip wasn't exactly forced, she did make her own choice, although granted that it was caused by the actions of another

@redtie That depends. The Stables were meant to preserve Pony life, but there's a counterbalance of the desire for freedom vs safety and stability. All of the stables were meant to eventually open and remit their populations to the surface
