  1. @pallettwist Yeah, I uh, never use reference lines. Not exactly sure the best way TO use them. So I just look at all the pictures I reference to and guess at it from there. I'm usually really good at guessing, and I can translate parts from picture to picture from there. IDK what I'm talking about. Thanks though!

    2. @lightningcrash The picture I just drew shows you the construction necessaries to model a front-facing pony though. You draw them in lightly and use it as a guide on what things should look like. I never used to use them and I still don't for most things but getting ponies to look right is nearly impossible without them as they're so uniform.

      1. @pallettwist Okay. I'm just a budding artist, so I'll try 'em out and see what works best. I like to do it in one shot though, instead of drawing in the lines, then drawing in rough features, then details, and erasing, then more details and erasing. SO COMPLICATED.

        1. @lightningcrash I'll draw you a comparison shot of me with and without them, since up until a few months ago I'd never used a construction line before.

          1. @pallettwist Only if you want. I must go now, so I'll check it out in my replies when I return.
