What would happen if you dipped a handgun in liquid Nitrogen, pulled it out, and fired it? I hypothesize that it would shatter due to the thermal shock

@nightwillow The force would cause the hammer to break, therefore doing nothing.

@nightwillow If the bullet was inside the gun at the time of Liquid Nitrogen submersion, it would assumably shrink by about the same amount (or perhaps not, given that Lead is a softer metal and more elastic than Steel)

@nightwillow The intense cold would freeze any oil in the gun, jamming it up.
