@metal ...are any of her criticisms based on the actual show? Its hard to think how a Y-rated show that espouses the virtues of platonic friendship could somehow condone paedophilia and the like.

@punbot no just the fanbase im gonna tell her it's only a small handful of people that do that. Most of them are furries for the most part, I'm gonna have her watch some of the episodes and explain more of the subculture to her.

@nerthos Well, leaving home at 18 is a good idea. I have a good friend who never left home, still lives with his mommy (in his mid-30s), and it's a tragic thing to see.

@metal Well, seeing as she seems to be basing this on... not much, really... I'm afraid there's not necessarily that much you CAN do, if she's simply unwilling to listen. In that case, all you can do is give her time, and hope that she softens her stance.
