@tenmihara I'm sort of on-and-off with the idea of writing a short story about him. On the one hand, I want to, on the other hand, self insertion is the least popular of all the types of insertion.

@tenmihara Well I was thinking of just writing it anyway. I'm not really interested in critical acclaim or anything like that. Writing is just fun for me, not SUPER SERIOUS BUSINESS MAGNUM OPUS territory.

@ceruleanspark I largely write stories for myself as well, but having other people enjoy my work can often inspire my continued efforts

@ceruleanspark I suppose; but you could always make the character a separate entity from yourself, even if it does carry some similar traits

@tenmihara The characterisation would be intrinsically different. That's why I developed his backstory independantly, because that defines the sort of pony he'd be.
