Hey... I'm Fluttershy. I saw this site and made an account. I hope you don't mind...

@shalabajza Mebbe not shreds, but yes. I is a decently well rounded musician. Saxophone and guitar, mostly.

@shalabajza That branch of the string family is actually the only big type of instrument I still want to try. Maybe double-reeded woodwinds as well.

@shalabajza Drums takes some work, far as I can tell. If I put a decent amount of practice, and got a drumset, I could probably pull it off, though. No one's ever accused me of having bad rhythm, unlike some drummers I know.

@shalabajza Ok, what are you using as an apostrophe? Because that's not an apostrophe. It looks like a reversed grave accent...

@shalabajza My high school's got a Jazz Ensemble. Pretty awesome.

@shalabajza I don't know. It's pretty strange.

@shalabajza No, no no no no no no! I enjoy the Foo Fighters plenty, but you can't go on with out some older stuff! I'm not too much for real old and classy jazz, but the fusion? Herbie Hancock's Head Hunters album was AWESOME! But even some of the older stuff, like In The Mood? Great stuff. Van Morrison's Moondance is great, good swing, good for improv. Little off-genre, Ellington's Caravan is awesome. You can't ignore old music, or you'll never recognize good music!

@shalabajza Even so, I don't think there's nearly as much good stuff today as there has been in years past. There's plenty of good rock, sure, but don't devote yourself to it! Good chiptune and dubstep is equally far removed from rock as jazz and swing are, they deserve a chance. Especially Herbie Hancock, btw. Fusion doesn't get nearly enough attention now, and it's considerably closer to rock than the swing.

@shalabajza I pay attention. I enjoy music, for sure. To the point I can't listen to my roommate's attempts to play acoustic. His strumming is not natural at all! It's like an alien dragging a fingernail across a somehow tuned chalkboard, and trying to sing the same note at the same time.
