    Just read A Clever Pony. Some fun bits. Some awkward moments. A handful of writing faults, two notable slipups in pacing and at least one squick moment. Despite all that, it's a good story, and OK as a fanfic due to some theme/tone breakaway moments. 3 of 5 stars. Worth reading if the topic interests you, but it's no Sunny Skies, and never set out to be.

      @retl # If the bit just before the Final ending was as intentional as I think it is, I'm going to shave another favor point. Was that part really necesary to the point of the story? If so, it was poorly integrated.
