Can I have someone to talk to about what I'm going through right now?
Monday, 05-Dec-11 02:06:56 UTC from web-
@metal I'm all ears
-
@metal Sure.
-
@metal As much as I regret providing emotional support for anyone, I know exactly what you're going through. Feel free.
-
@macpony55 @onetrickpony @thatonepony I wish this was just a bad dream that im waking up from since he's passed on I feel like a huge part of me is gone as well...It's gonna be so different not talking to him everyday
-
@metal well that's definitely something that is gonna be hard for the next couple weeks or so, the best thing to do would be to talk to as many other close friends as possible during that time so you don't feel alone, that will just make things worse
-
@metal That's a feeling that never truly goes away. You'll live with that memory for the rest of your life, but the pain will heal. You'll always have that part of you missing, but over time the wounds and sadness will heal and you'll be able to live life. You'll never be able to move on, but you will always be able to start a new path.
-
@metal I won't lie to you, you will never be able to fill that void in you except by giving yourself closure with him. He was a good frieend and he will always be with you if what you two held was real. Someone said the very correct thing earlier, that you need to think of all of the good times you had with him and hold those and your relationship with him close to your heart.
-
@macpony55 @thatonepony @onetrickpony I don't feel like i can let him go honestly..even if I do i don't want to
-
@metal Like I said, (based on what I believe) you WILL meet him later on in eternity.
-
@thatonepony @onetrickpony Yeah...I guess so I'm always gonna remember him as my brother who i loved with all my heart...I just don't know why stuff like this has to happen...why is life such a kiwi?
-
@metal Well he is obviously still here in a sense as you are talking with us about him, you've still got great memories of him and you'll always be able to keep those with you
-
@metal That's the thing, you shouldn't let him go, but you shouldn't cling to the memories either. You've lost someone important to you, the best thing you can hope to do is keep fond memories, but still be able to function as a person. This is a hurt you will keep with you for the rest of your life, but it's a hurt that will ease over time.
-
@metal To give what we call "life" a deeper restrospect to you, the second you are born you start dying. Life is the # 1 killer of people, and everyone has it. Life is one big batch of bananas meant to put you down, but you must persist no matter what.
-
@onetrickpony Yeah...I guess so
-
@thatonepony @onetrickpony I know they will...I don't know if this is harder on me or his family...seriously...but he was always my friend we used to argue alot and looking back on that makes me feel like an ungreatful murdock...we disbanded our friendship for a few months then we made up...that lasted since maybe like august...i feel like a dick
-
@metal Don't let this engulf your life. I'm pretty sure your friend would want you to continue life and be happy while he's gone.
-
@metal Don't let that sadness eat you. At least you were able to repair your relationship before his passing. It would be much harder if you hadn't.
-
@onetrickpony All I did though was talk to him every single day...
-
@metal Friends have bouts occasionally. Heck, my friend I've had for more than 11 years now had our fights. As long as you both ended on good terms, everything will be fine.
-
@thatonepony Bkee.
-
@derpsissadbecauseprincesstwilightdoesnotwanttomarryhim How big are your sister's murdock?
-
@metal that's gonna happen with friendships, it makes them stronger, don't feel bad about it
-
@onetrickpony @thatonepony I wouldnt have even known...but you're right my friend had an argument with his friend as soon as he left his house from a sleepover and his friend got into a car accident
-
@derpsissadbecauseprincesstwilightdoesnotwanttomarryhim Ohh, more than one? Even better.
-
@metal Don't worry. If you know you were friends with him, then it's likely he though the same.
-
@thatonepony GAHHHH
-
@onetrickpony Yeah he did but still... @macpony55 and yeah
-
@metal No buts. You both will always have each other in one way or another. As earlier stated, keep your good memories of him close to your heart and you will never feel alone
