  1. Does anyone else make stupid connections in their head? For example when I play Propane Nightmares by Pendulum I remember Minecraft because I got the song at the same time I had a Minecraft obsession? Stupid things like that? I can remember crazy amounts of stuff just by hearing the music I was listening to at the time. Just... Wondering if this is normal?

      1. @h0rs3c4ndl3 @purplephish20 OK good I'm not a total weirdo, or maybe... We're all weirdos... In which case I fit in nicely. :3

    3. @scoot Whenever I hear a Queen song, I think of Diablo II, because me and my brother played that game a lot while listening to Queen when I was younger. And some other song, can't remember which, reminds me of a kind of ice cream I used to eat. When I played Rayman Forever a week ago or so for the first time in years, I could almost taste the microwave popcorn we used to eat when I was younger. Just a few examples.

      1. @synkk I find I FEEL like I used to when the songs playing too, as if different time frames had a different feel to them if that makes any sense

        1. @scoot I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes when I smell a certain smell, it's almost like I travel back through time till the day when I bought my first package of Pokémon cards. It's an amazing feeling, but it usually just lasts for a few seconds.

          1. @synkk Yeah, it's a pretty pleasant experience. Although yours seems to affect smell which mine doesnt :3

            1. @scoot Yeah. Just a shame it lasts for so short time. :P

              1. @synkk True that, but its nice when it does happen :3

                1. @scoot Of course. Lightens up your day a bit. That's one of the reasons I love finding old songs I used to listen to. They bring back old memories. ^_^

                  1. @synkk Yeah! Nostalgia is a nice thing, unless you just obsess over the past..

                    1. @scoot True. I usually don't dwell too much in the past, though. It's just fun with those random flash backs you get. :3

                      1. @synkk Yeah, a look back at what you used to do. So long as you remember that you've moved on in life then nostalgia is just a nice warm feeling of simpler times :3

                        1. @scoot Exactly. I love those moments. I mean, sometimes I miss my childhood, but I know I won't get it back, so those flashbacks are the best I can get. And I'm happy for that. ^_^

                          1. @synkk Yeah, I'm never going to BE that young or be able to do the things I used to, but so long as they live on in my memories and I get these little reminders, I can relive them in my head and just smile about it

                            1. @scoot I know precisely what you mean, and I agree. Being young was fun, but I'm quite happy with how I lived my childhood, so I have mostly fond memories. ^_^

    4. @thatonepony Well I'm reminded because I had a small upset with my girlfriend while playing Skyrim and now whenever I try to start playing it again I just feel bad about the whole upset girlfriend issue and can't play any more. So it's not just music.

      1. @scoot I've not been able to listen to Bob Marley (who I love) for the last two years as I was going through some very bad times when I was really into his music and listening to him always reminds me of a crap part of my life, I'm only just starting to get over it now
