@rotation Which, since no-one drives, will get you nothing but wasted fuel. Clearly, you are not ready for survival in today's harsh reality. Good thing I hope to make it to the meetup in January, so I can say a proper goodbye before the snow apocalypse comes and the wolves move in to prey on the weak.

@rotation Last-minute exams and essays, and slowly dragging the entire Sci-Fi association (Io) into bronydom. One of the advantages of always bringing my laptop to school is that I get to play the movies on movie night, and therefore also choose the short clips for entertainment during the break. I think I've shown every PMV on YouTube by now :)

@rotation My airplane tickets say I'm supposed to be back in Glasgow on January 6, so unless the weather acts up horribly I'll be at the meetup.

@rotation I think the maximum so far has been three in a single week. And one exam got cancelled because of the storm last week, so that's half a week of studying wasted...

@rotation Good thing I'm spending Christmas back home in Sweden, so I get to see what real snow looks like, and not just the thin layer of slush you get here.

@rotation When that happens in Sweden, I plan for my bike trip to work to take 40 minutes instead of the normal 20. And I wear double-glassed ski goggles, to prevent my eyes from freezing shut (which is really annoying, especially in traffic).

@rotation And yet you expect to survive. What next - you'll tell me you don't have thick wool undergarments and Gore-Tex shells ready to put on when the temperature drops below -15 C?

@rotation And you'll need those socks when you're freezing in your car, stuck in traffic while those of us who are prepared skip by outside, dancing in the powdery snow.
