  1. I thought Hasbro saw the MLP: FiM Episodes being uploaded online as free promotion for the merchandise? So why have Ponyarchives been sent a "cease to exist" letter? (They mentioned it on their Twitter page) Normally I wouldn't be surprised by this sort of thing (website hosting TV show episodes meeting legal problems), but like I said I thought Hasbro never had a problem with it, as the merch seems to be where most of the $$$ is made.

    1. @leonkfox They also have a DVD set to release soon too, which may have prompted the action.

      1. @colfax Ah yeah, I forgot about that. Ah well, I have 'em all downloaded onto my phone from YouTube uploads so I'm not devastated about the loss of Pony Archive, was just initially surprised as I said.

        1. @leonkfox This explains why there wasn't an SDCC download for S2E10 up today, which is when it usually shows up

    2. @leonkfox But then again, as far as I can recall there's no such thing as a "cease to exist" letter... now "cease and desist" is another matter.

      2. @colfax Well, I assume that's what Pony Archive meant to say. I don't know all that much about law so just went by what they said on their official Twitter. ^^;
