@madflavors I just finished a paragraph for DDC ch5; exactly 9001 words XD

@tenmihara are you shooting for 10k or just to wrap up the chapter?
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 03:53:03 UTC from web-
@madflavors I'm shooting to complete the chapter; but there's still a little more to go. Touching on May's use of dash, and setting up the new DJ P0N-3

@tenmihara i've read a few side-fics that other people have written and drug-use seems to be pretty common.... i can't tell if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

@madflavors It makes for good conflict, but I also wanted to make a point of the reduced effect of chems on ghouls, and how that can impact them
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 03:59:17 UTC from web-
@tenmihara good point
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 04:01:02 UTC from web-
@madflavors Plus most players use chems anyways; although the effects in gameplay are nothing like real addictions
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 04:04:22 UTC from web-
@tenmihara very true..i think for fun once i tried to take as many chems as i possibly could, i ended up addicted to everything, it was great. #icantbelieveijustsaidthat

@madflavors I've been using Party-Time Mentats when I need to (not quite addicted yet), and I dropped Psycho and Med-X once when a legion Assassin party came after me
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 04:08:50 UTC from web-
@tenmihara have you been nearly killed yet?
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 04:15:07 UTC from web-
@madflavors The assassin party got me under 20% of my health; and I have been crippled a LOT (small Frame Trait, +1 Agi, 1.5x limb dmg, definitely Littlepip XD)
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 04:18:07 UTC from web-
@tenmihara 1.25x limb dmg

@madflavors As well, the cripplings have been actually a pain, since I'm playing on Hardcore Mode
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 04:18:30 UTC from web-
@tenmihara yea... i really need to get New Vegas. For some reason i've really wanted to try Hard-core mode

@madflavors It's an interesting challenge, but I've been playing to it for the sake of Littlepip flavour. In fact, I've never gotten a Barter above 30 before, but this time I havd to get it to 70 for the Pack Rat perk (Organizer in FoE). It helped a LOT, cutting my weight by more than 60 (since ammo also has weight, which was then cut in half). The Strong Back perk adds 50 to your weight capacity, but that's not the right style for Pip. As well, I found I never seemed to have enough caps in my first NV playthrough. With 70 barter, I'm much more lucrative =D

@tenmihara neat.

@madflavors As a result though I had to sacrifice putting ranks into speech and guns (I already got Lockpick and Science over 50, at lvl 9 currently). I'm focusing on guns for a couple levels so I don't suck in combat anymore (I had to use a Magazine to beat those assassins lol). The Hardcore challenge isn't quite as hard as it sounds, but it's good for an experience

@tenmihara it just sounds like a fun way to play fallout

@madflavors It adds a level of realism, that's for sure. Although, the sleep deprivation doesn't build up nearly as fast as I thought it would. (You can probably go 2 or 3 days without sleep before suffering penalties). Dehydration builds up most quickly, followed by starvation. Makes sense, since you can last longer on water than on food alone
