You want to see a bunch of ungrateful sods? Look no further than the tweets that this user has retweeted. https://twitter.com/#!/fart (Yes, his username is a bit odd, but still, the retweets need to seen to be believed)

@leonkfox Why do they even want an iPhone? xD idiots.
-
@nerthos I can understand the appeal of the device, but their attitude towards not getting one is...well, appalling. Whatever happened to being grateful for what you got?
-
@leonkfox Do you expect Twitter users to think that much? xD they lack a good punch in their faces from their parents.
-
@leonkfox Jeez, that really is ungrateful. :/
-
@leonkfox Hmm. A few of those, among the ones who got nice things but still aren't happy, do appear to be taken out of context, or are missing information that makes what they say more understandable. For the most part, though, wow, what a bunch of spoiled brats.
-
@shori Tell me about it.
-
@astra Hm, I should have figured a few of them would be like that, but still, it's hard not to react the way I did upon seeing them.
-
@nerthos Oi, I use Twitter, and I don't condone that kind of ungratefulness.
-
@leonkfox Yeah, but as far as I know, you're not the average user.
-
@nerthos Oh, I see. Sorry, thought you meant Twitter uses period. My bad.
-
@leonkfox No problem xD I'm used to misunderstandings, English is not my finest language.
-
@leonkfox Oh, definitely not. I mean, hating Christmas and people and what have you because you didn't get some gadget (or any other thing, for that matter)? Maybe it's just that I had an upbringing where resources were slim, so we were really happy with what ever we got, and getting stuff was way down on the list of things that made Christmas awesome, anyway. But most of these guys . . . Wow.
-
@astra I got more than enough to be happy about and grateful for this Christmas, and I couldn't imagine reacting the way some of those people did to say, the colour of the surprise DS Lite I got yesterday as one of my Christmas presents.
-
@leonkfox Hey, a surprise DS Lite sounds pretty darned good! No, I can't imagine I'd turn my nose up at one, either (though I hardly ever play with the old original DS I picked up back when those were new, but, still, it's the thought that counts, and I'd make sure to play with it just because). Anyway, glad you got a nifty new game for Christmas, there! :)
-
@astra Truth be told, I was actually over the moon about the DS Lite xD I had traded in my original DS Lite that I got back in 2007 to get a huge chunk of the price off of the 3DS when they first came out. I regretted that immensley, even before that 3DS got nicked and I had no DS period. I did replace it...only to find that without my original DS games the thing was a brick (they got nicked alongside the first 3DS) so I traded it in. I did replace the 3DS AGAIN about a month or so back (considerably cheaper and more games that I wanted by this point) but I missed the DS Lite because of its vastly superior battery life, lack of reigon locking and the ability to play GBA games, so...yeah, thrilled to have one again, especially since I didn't expect it. ^^
-
@leonkfox Yes, those are some of the reasons that I never bothered to upgrade from my original DS -- being able to play original GBA games, and better battery life . . . and, well, hardly having time to play the one I have, plus the number of games that scold me for not having played them in a while when I do pick them back up -- so that's awesome that you were able to get a DS lite for Christmas. :)
