Just found out that for the last week I've been staying less than 10 miles away from Equestria, South Africa, and didn't know it.

@thatonepony Not that I know of.... apparently it's a subdivision just east of Pretoria... It has its own mall and golf course too.

@thatonepony No... I can't golf worth a damn. But it's nice to know that it's there... I can't think up a worthy excuse to justify my parents driving me across town just to look at what appears on google to be a pretty vanilla housing development... if further research indicates the presence of ponies, I may reconsider.

@cluelesspony Tell them to deal with it. I drive twice that distance to work EVERY DAY and even farther on weekends when I visit my friends. I drive 10 miles to get an ICE CREAM CONE.

@dmtactical I dunno though, there's not much there but a cookie-cutter housing division. And it'd be a difficult thing to explain to parents seeing as they don't know about my being a brony.

@pillowpony In a few weeks, I will be complaining about not going to BroNYCon, not about not going to some suburb of Pretoria. I'd prefer to keep it an imaginary place in my mind, so I can invent whatever I want to be there.
