@tenmihara You can (somewhat) pay it forward for your next character, by storing stuff in chests for them when they start. You should be able to get a little further each time.

@ceruleanspark Except that I dropped all the stuff the character was carrying and then when I saved and exited, it was lost. I did stash a bit of stuff in a chest, but lost most of it

@ceruleanspark I should definitely organize a last Terrarian standing version of this; get a bunch of us together on one server taking this challenge, and see who can last the longest. Plus, the collective longevity would be increased by teamwork
