   I opened Notepad, stared at the text document for five minutes, and sighed. I remembered why I never finished writing this fanfic; how was I supposed to turn "solo hiking up to the mountains" into a story about how your true friends are the ones who care about you even when you're not around?

            @redenchilada Sublime Text or Writemonkey. Both output as raw .txt, but with niceties like not burning out your eyeballs and a functional undo.

                  @redenchilada Writemonkey has a button the explicitly disables both backspace and undo. It calls it typewriter mode.

         @pumpkinhill I'm trying to avoid taking that route. I have the ending planned out in my head as "Twilight comes back home to find her friends had planned a surprise party for her since she was gone all day", and I don't know how to get Twilight to miss them without turning her into an emotional trainwreck.
