So now that the spoiler embargo has lifted: Which is more likely: Mrs Cake is a whore, or Nurse Redheart is dangerously incompetant, and she mixed up and gave the Cakes the wrong babies.

@ceruleanspark Mr. Cake is the one who's sleeping around and is in cahoots with Nurse Redheart who delivered their babies, but had them switched out with the ones that were dumped on him by his other partners who just happened to have given birth around the same time. He also got Nurse Redheart to fudge Mrs. Cake's heritage and tell her that she had Non Earth Pony genes in her bloodline.

@ceruleanspark Off to the orphanage with them, the other ones were already born a bit before so he's more emotionally attached to them. He also likes their mothers more. He practically never even saw the ponies that Mrs. Cake gave birth to so they're not really important to him. He's just cold hearted like that.
