@cabal Respectable? Profit? Hah! It's amazing what a wood-tiled background will do. When I set it up, it was meant to be an "After Dark" version of RDN for people posting content not suitable for this timeline/woona. It was only when people started worrying about wanting somewhere to go during the SOPA blackout that it picked up any interest, and only then because misunderstood the concept of a blackout.

@bronies Why not? A while back RDN had a strong clampdown on certain types of conversations. Since I had the server anyway, I figured I'd spin up a statusnet instance for people from RDN to go and have their now-forbidden discussions of a more risque nature. It got a lot of publicity over here when there was an RDN SOPA blackout on the cards, as it provided somewhere for people to hang out while RDN was down.
