Facing a bit of a dilemma, Tales of the Abyss 3D is so rare already, I almost don't want to open it x.x But I wanna play it as well...gah. !vgp

@mushi So I've heard, but my inner nerd doesn't want to, knowing the value a sealed copy could contain down the line >.< Wouldn't normally be like this, but for it to be so expensive already (I was lucky to get it for £40) has me thinking that this is gonna be a heavily sought after game, especially sealed.

@mushi I've never owned one of these games before, I have wanted to, but here in Europe most (if not all) of them cost a bloody fortune, this was one I managed to get close to its launch, and even then I got lucky with the price, I think they restocked the game briefly on Play.com (which was where I got it from)

@leonkfox unfortunately, i've never could buy an original tales of. an avarage original game here is about R$180 (or about 80 eur).

@mushi The ones that came out in Europe are stupidly expensive, and as far as I can tell most of them didn't :(

@mushi At least with Kingdom Hearts it was only re-released special editions (which I eventually imported but still haven't been able to play as of yet) but with "Tales Of" entire games PERIOD are only in Japan, or Japan and the US for some, like Abyss on the PS2. This will be one expensive/difficult series to get into, for sure.

@leonkfox yes, sometime i think namco people are dumb, i dont see any reason to keep their awesome series only for japaneses (and, eventually , americans)

@mushi I just realised one of them is getting a PS3 Port in the Summer of this year, in EUROPE! Even if I don't play It for ages I'm buying it straight away, just to avoid paying a stupid price for it later!

@mushi Would you not need more than a PS3 to buy all of the American but not European "Tales Of" games though? Weren't most of the PS3 Ports Japan only? (even for games that did get International releases, like Vesperia)

@leonkfox for now, i'm happy with the american games, and And i will get an xbox in this monday, so i will play the vesperia. Later, if i end up buying the ps3, i can play Xilia and graces. They're all released in america, right?

@mushi There are some that got American releases but not European, but no European only ones (not counting Japan of course) sucks to be a fan of the series if you live here. I mean I only just got my first game in the series period, but still!

@leonkfox thanks! i think i will need. There is also another series i like, the atelier series, but most of the games are only ps3 jp D=. at least i could play its 2 games for ps2
