While I'd love to play an HD version of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, I'm not re-buying the 2 overrated sequels again just to do so. (The HD Collection is out soon) I just want a Ratchet and Clank one already! Would love to play all 4 remastered in HD, revive the online for 3 and Deadlocked as well! !vgp

@shadowlight I personally hated them, thematically they had almost no relevance to the original game whatsoever, to the point that you honestly do not need to play the original game. It feels like they're waving their hands and saying "Hey, look at how dark and edgy we've made these characters...sure no thought went into it, no development but rather a total reboot in II's intro but what the hay?" That's just how I see it though.

@redenchilada I disagree, the games look almost like modern downloadable, made for 360/PS3 games on my HDTV, I since bought them on PS2 on the cheap and the difference is immense as far as the picture quality goes, and the gameplay is perfectly intact.

@leonkfox It also has other (admittedly inconsequential) issues with menu graphics being cut off outside of the 4:3 viewing area, and a few misaligned hud elements. I'll admit those don't affect the experience in a meaningful way, but THEY BUG ME DON'T YOU SEE. *ocd*

@redenchilada I never really noticed any of these things, I gotta be honest. ^^; The videos not playing WOULD be an issue though, but I suppose you could always just watch them on YouTube, or download them.

@redenchilada The guns...EUGH, the guns. Don't even get me started. That was a big reason why I felt like it was just Naughty Dog desperatley waving their hands in the air and trying to stand out with the whole "dark and edgy approach" they add nothing to the game as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't MIND the edgier, darker approach if some development had gone into it in an attempt to make the original game feel relevant, like it really IS the start of the trilogy, but they decided to settle for a lazy reboot that kicks in right after the opening cutscene.
