@pony Took the base image created from everyone's lovable Pony Creator (no cutie mark or accessories, just the body stuff) and overlaid a whole bunch of paths using the Pen tool in Illustrator CS4. It was uncharted territory for me, since I've never used paths to add to an image before.

@chiefanchor nice! Did you have to pay much for illustrator? I use inkscape (open source)

@pony Academic license, since I'm in college. Got the whole shebang (Master Collection) for a little over $600 US; beats normal retail by about 80%

@chiefanchor no kidding! That's great! I can't even afford that though.. do you know if illustrator has a way to make strokes of changing and adustable width rather than just one width for any given line?

@pony I haven't really attempted to do so, mainly because the single-width strokes haven't failed me yet. If there's a way to make them anchor-point-specific, I don't know it yet.

@chiefanchor gotcha. Single with looks good as is, but I'm a fan of varyingv width lines.
