Can someone help me with some menu design?

@redenchilada You remember that stat menu mockup I showed you? If I darken the blue colored text a bit, what would be a good color for the hud? I was thinking an offset white with a goldenrod shade fading into it.

@redenchilada Or do you think it look more visually appealing if I reversed it? As in goldenrod center, fading out to white on the edge. Or maybe red fading into white or yellow, but I don't know how good red would look with the text and red tends to be an "in your face" color.

@redenchilada 100 Mb/ps and I know, dayum. The ISP that's I'm going to get my service from was actually rated ISP of the year in PCWorld and recently fastest ISP in the US by the same magazine.
