    Few things irritate my inner nerd more than people calling "The Doctor" Doctor Who x.x (a contestant on the chase is very much guilty of this, and he appears to be a big fan as he would like to actually PLAY The Doctor, which makes it even more irritating) # #

        @colfax I'm a bit OCD when it comes to the whole "call him The Doctor, not Doctor Who!!!" thing that I capatalise it out of habit. ^^;

            @purplephish20 It just drives me insane, he is called "The Doctor" ALL-THE-TIME in the show, to my knowledge he only ever called himself Dr Who in the Peter Cushing films, which are part of a different continuity anyway.

                @colfax That's just a generic alias that he uses as a cover though, isn't it? (He used it in the 2007 two parter "Human Nature/Family of Blood" as well)

                  @leonkfox The only thing I know about the Doctor is that John Smith is a character he made up. But he won't know that, so he'll think he IS John Smith and he might do something stupid like eat a pear.

                    @colfax Ah yeah. I REALLY need to watch more 3rd and 4th Doctor episodes (especially the Jon Pertwee as he's my favourite of the whole lot) but the DVD's were quite pricey when I last looked :(
