  1. you must be confusing grilling with the microwave oven... and propane is odorless... its an added chemical used as a safety precaution to let you know if there's a leak that makes it have that smell... it is burned off and odorless when it touches flame.

    2. @hankhill But I heard when when Propane is burned with air 10 kmol of air the the resultants of the reaction are 3 kmol of Carbon Dioxide and 4kmol of water thus producing a 3:1 ratio of Greenhouse gases for every 1kmol of Propane burned

        1. @hankhill Charcoal is a 1:1 ratio as there is only 1 Carbon atom in the compound. So buring 1kmol of charcoal produces 1kmol of Carbon dioxide.
