I have a special request of everypony who doesn't mind sharing their thoughts with me. I'm trying to think of an appropriate angle for my MLP related research/persuasive essay topic and would appreciate some help brainstorming... Some examples of what I'm thinking would make a good topic are: [b]Why MLP:FiM Appeals to Viewers outside of Its Target Demographic[/b], [b]MLP:FiM Fandom's Conflict with Social Attitudes & Standards[/b], and [b]MLP:FiM & Its Fandom's Impact on Bronies' Lives[/b]. I'd be grateful for any thoughts you have about these or other related topics. There are NO bad suggestions (within reason). Please and thank you #everypony!

@zach just been busy with the usual.. sleep, procrastination, school, food, and more school. :) How's it goin with you?

@pony i believe that one reason people like the show is because each character will always have a side to them that you have not seen before, and you can then relate that character to experiences and to yourself and others. the show is somewhat a take on life that appeals to younger kids, but the true complexity appeals to older audiences. i'm not sure if that made sense.

@pony I personally I like it for the animation quality, its brilliant voice work and references to pop culture. You might mention how shows such as Pokemon, Transformers, Power Rangers and others have reached beyond their intended demographic as well and were intended for young boys (correct me if I'm wrong). There was a much different response to that in my opinion, "why can't girls enjoy fighting robots?" Well, using that line of thought, "why can't boys enjoy ponies?"

@pony Well if it's how the demographic of MLP has hit this age group I'd have to say that some of the group has been attracted by the overall randomness of it, possibly it has something to a more mental and stimuli type of thing. but most bronies like the show for the actors, the songs, animation and the fact that the developers listen to the community which is exponentially growing as based on said reasons.
