    So, to finalise this Derpy situation; Derpy's voice changed and name removed for reasons currently unknown, but from the sounds of it, it wasn't an easy choice and Derpy will remain unchanged as a background character and the creators still see her as Derpy.       @scribbs The reason seems pretty clear to me in that journal entry, "I didn't like the reason why they had her change. It didn't seem at all offensive in my opinion." In any case.. I don't think there was ever any reason to be worried.. but again, I'm not as big a fan of Derpy as many are.

        @cavatina Exactly, the creators should be praised for bringing fan stuff into the show, not criticised for changing it.
