                        @the20percent Yep, got it fixed. I set export AUDIODRIVER="alsa" and my SDL games are running again. After I removed my ~/.pulse directory Firefox and Thunderbird started to work again as well. In case of sound issues: Blame PulseAudio.

                          @omni amen to that... PulseAudio has been nothing but a hassle for me, but for some reason LMMS (or another program, its kind of escaping me right now) loves it :/ *flips table over* lol idk why. And I have a question about exporting global variables, do you have to do it every time you turn your computer on, or is it a one time change?

                            @the20percent You'll have to do it every time but I put it in ~/.bash_profile and linked my ~/.xinitrc to it so it happens every boot now automatically.

                              @omni alright, thanks! I ran into this problem once or twice, like when I was trying to custom compile gpg2 back when I was on OpenSUSE... didn't work out so well, but it doesn't matter now, as I'm on mint now...
