@bigponymac @abigpony We can talk about Physics! Several students are riding in bumper cars at an amusement park. The combined mass of car A and its occupants is 250 kg. The combined mass of car B and its occupants is 200 kg. Car A is 15 m away from car B and moving to the right at 2.0 m/s, as shown, when the driver decides to bump into car B, which is at rest. (a) Car A accelerates at 2 1.5 m s to a speed of 5.0 m s and then continues at constant velocity until it strikes car B. Calculate the total time for car A to travel the 15 m.

@abigpony I really enjoy learning math. I just finished Calculus 2 on Wednesday and I'm finishing Statistics this Wednesday. @bigponymac Trig, unfortunately.

@angel That's what I took. I didn't take Cal based because I was pretty weak at Cal I. Didn't go any higher than that. Still managed a B though.

@abigpony Strawberries are delicious! @bigponymac Well Physics is really cool, the teacher just isn't great. It wasn't very hard to get those grades seeing as he gave minimal work. It left me unprepared for the cumulative test on the college board guidelines that I'm taking tomorrow afternoon. But I'm done studying for the night.

@angel I always though Physics was interesting. I liked the thought of knowing how the world works, but it just wasn't for me. Yay for finishing studying!

@angel I'm kinda jealous. I'm more of an art person. I like creating stuff with the hope that it'll put a smile on someone's face. I enjoy knowing that people enjoy what I do.

@bigponymac Lucky you! I wish artists made more money, because they deserve it. I know I would buy lots of arts if I had money for it. @abigpony I love eating, so much.

@abigpony I have the ability (somewhat). I just have trouble getting started. I'll sit there looking at the paper or computer for what seems like forever before I make my first mark.

@angel Technically, I've just finished my third, but my first two were spent majoring in Biology at UAB. I'm now going into Visual Communications at a local community college. I want to turn that into a BA or BFA.

@bigponymac Oh, I start college in the fall. Going to go to Community College for two years (hopefully) then transfer to one of the really nice Math schools in CA. @abigpony You fooled my scale.

@abigpony You need to carry around a little notebook to write all your ideas in. All I can say is stick with you ideas. The more you draw the better you'll get. If it starts looking bad, chunk it and start again. I can't tell you how many time's I've done that.

@abigpony I always write them down just in case. lol It also gives me a check list. I've got a list of drawings I want to do and because they're written down I feel like I've got to do them.

@angel Mostly paid for. They didn't pay for all of the room and board and books. What's sad is that it's cheaper for me to go to my community college than it was for me to go to UAB on a scholarship. Plus UAB is really lenient on there ACT/SAT scores. Don't tell yourself you're dumb. :(

@abigpony Well then, that needs to be your artistic outlet. I can write the music. I've been playing guitar for almost 11 1/2 years. Never been able to write decent lyrics.

@abigpony I probably need to try that. I've been playing my acoustic a lot here lately and I've gotten to the point where I hardly use a pick anymore. It's crazy.

@abigpony That's sweet! I've gotten into fingerpicking and adding percussive elements to my rhythm play. I'm not sure what kind of lyrics would fit with my playing style.

@abigpony I think my style is a combination of a bunch of different people. I'm not sure who I picked it up from because it just happened. It may be a very simplified style of Andy Mckee with a little bit of John Mayer's bluesiness. Though I can't come close to playing like Andy Mckee.
