@ovation it could be her middle name! In my personal canon she's named after her mother.

@ovation I actually think that's a cute last name! :D I know it'll probably really bother a lot of her fans who've come up with different ideas though.

@dezzierose Do ponies even *have* last names? I always thought their names were just two words. (Eg. Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, etc.)

@ovation well sometimes they call rainbow dash just rainbow, and pinkie pie just pinkie, the fanon names for her sisters end in pie, it's not like they don't say it like that.

@zimzap True, but I call my friends by shorter names all the time. Why say "Elizabeth" when you can just say "Liz"? IMO, it's the same thing.

@zimzap I like to think she was just plain old Annie Smith when she was younger. Apple Smith would work as well

@ovation what i mean is while pinkie pie is her full name, pinkkie is more common, and Liz is in the middle of a word,so I don't really think that counts.

@zimzap I call her younger self Little Abigail Smith which is an extremely redundant name due to the fact that in Irish, Abigail means "Little Smith". @ovation They probably have last names that are never mentioned. Sometimes they could use both their first and middle name as their full name. Pinkie Pie is different, because she prefers her full name instead of Pinkie Diane.

@pony I _think_ they call her Apple Bloom. I much prefer Applebloom, though.

@pony Meh, probably. Or the writers are too lazy to come up with first and last names for AAAAALL the characters. I just prefer to think of them as having only one name. It's edgy and cool. Kind of like Madonna.

@zimzap My non-pony handle is "Lifegospel", and I've used it so long that everyone including my teachers uses it to refer to me. Nobody's called me Bryce in a few months.
