RIP victims of the bus accident. We will miss you. You won't be forgotten.
-
@gxgow Bus accident?
-
@greydragon412 That's a big coach. xD
-
@greydragon412 Fat coach.
-
@greydragon412 Strong fat guy?
-
@ponyray Was it the drivers fault?
-
@greydragon412 No, but it's still a big shock for all of Belgium.
-
@gxgow Oh that.
-
@captainmilo It's not just 'that', this is a true national disaster. This has hit all of us Belgians. It's as worse as with the baby's which were killed by Kim Degelder. So don't call it just 'that'!
-
@greydragon412 @gxgow I think most of the world has become just jaded enough that the death of children in a bus isn't that big of a deal. Yeah it's sad, but it doesn't effect us personally, so we could care less.
-
@greydragon412 It really depends on generation and personal ethics.
-
@commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese @greydragon412 You think the parents of the victims are the only ones who are sad about this? How about the other 10 million Belgians who were mourning too? It's been a huge hit for us and it doesn't surprise me you guys don't really care.
-
@gxgow Just for the record. I CARE, and im british....
-
@purplephish20 god i love british accents.
-
@greydragon412 Why should they be mourning? More than 40 innocent Belgians in a bus crash, 22 of the children died, theor teachers died and a few of them are in a coma. I think you just don't understand it.
-
@purplephish20 Thanks for your support :)
-
@gxgow I never said the parents were the only ones affected. I only said that most of the world is too jaded to care. The fact that that many people are mourning is a good thing in my eyes. I like that there's a section of the world that is willing to mourn the loss of kids they don't even know.
-
@greydragon412 It's just a thing of good will. I personally do't mourn for people I don't at least slightly know but, I still respect the people who feel the need to, cause I understand that a lot of people view the world differently than me. xD
-
@greydragon412 So what you're saying, is that you don't have to care about the death of people you don't know. So you also don't have to care about the soldiers and civilians which have been killed in a war, because you don't know them either.
-
@greydragon412 Yeah, there's no logic behind it, except that it's what the community as a whole expects from you.
-
@gxgow Personally, I'm empathetic, but it's pretty common to see murders and tragedies constantly on the news here (which is why I don't watch that depressing junk) while the reporters just say everything with a straight face uninterested voice.
-
@greydragon412 I guess that's one way to put it. xD Personally, mourning in general is stupid. But that's just my opinion xD
-
@greydragon412 Exactly! My mother passed away and I didn't cry like everyone else, that's stupid. I celebrated her life and the memories I had with her. xD
-
@gxgow I try to belittle a disaster so it won't make me so depressed, and which is why I no longer watch the news.
