@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves Oh thank you for the offer! I was fortunate enough in the end to get my computer to a friend who is working on it right now. It was a rough morning though, I at first tried going to MemoryExpress and they were telling me it would cost like 400$

@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves According to them the price includes a four hour diagnoses program and then they can start working on it, no guarantees though. The guy who was working there told me that 100$'s of that price would be spent to get it "on the bench", meaning he would work on it immediately, or I would have to wait several days. I felt it was a sketchy operation, so I just waited for my friend to get off work. Do you work as a computer technician? I wish I was more savvy with computers myself...

@vanillabelle I'm a student technician at my university. I get $10/hr to diagnose laptops and install Windows images.
