  1. Well if this just doesn't rustle my jimmies. I'm not sure if I'm more disappointed in the fact that bronies are acting like this or that those kids that watched Hunger Games because they heard it was popular are considered a legitimate grouping. http://ur1.ca/8t1f2

    1. @policeman Don't know what to think of that

    2. @policeman So they're basically saying pick on or the other cause you can't like both?

      1. @macpony55 Well it's a poll for some store or something I think and they have a bunch of choices and MLP and Hunger games seem to be in the lead. I could care less who won or whatever, but bronies are just trying to force themselves to win everything and they think themselves better than everything else. hunger Games is winning because it's trending. MLP is trying to win because they feel the need to.

        1. @policeman Ah, well the behavior definitely is disappointing, and we're honestly already so high up I don't think it really even matter anymore

          1. @macpony55 To some, everything matters.

    4. @conventrix agreed.

    5. @conventrix Rule 34: if it exists, there is porn of it. (this rule also applies to anything else) If there are fans, there is fan-made content. "Fandom" is a very general term. Their "fandom" is really messed up right now.

Monday, 26-Mar-12 01:12:14 UTC from web
    6. @aeniug2 Exactly. But we feel we're that much more important right now that we need to outshine everything.

Monday, 26-Mar-12 01:13:31 UTC from web
    7. @conventrix We're also the most annoying flambouyant, (according to several polls) the most hated, and we have more internal problems than most other fandoms. We got so large noone knows what they're doing anymore.

    8. @conventrix I don't even clop and my friend told me that I'm into bestiality... and I'm not. o.o

    9. @conventrix See, the "cloppers" thing I don't understand. If someone likes something, people will classify them as a "xmurdocker." Who gives a damn what their interpretation of the show and fandom is if they keep it to themselves. It's the non-"clppers" faults for spreading it everywhere that gives us that one. As for the rest, i don't specifically want to say there is a 'section" of the fandom that is causing our reputation so much as people who are mixed in everywhere. You can just kind of generalize certain areas, but they aren't specifically to blame. The problem (in my eyes) is that we aren't even a pony fandom anymore as much as a "find-a-friend" sort of fandom where we just join to find people to talk about our lives with. I know ALOT of people who left the fandom for reasons like this. If we boil it down, we aren't so much of a pony fandom anymore.

    10. @conventrix Exactly why I Hated watching the fandom grow. Mo' people, mo' problems. That's the reason I hate seeing people introduce others to the show or fandom. That's the reason I despise people who want to see ponies go global and stuff. This fandom has grown and has done a complete 180 from it's original form.

Monday, 26-Mar-12 01:35:09 UTC from web
      1. @policeman I agree with you in a way...but what do you mean that the fandom has had done a complete 180? I do think that the more people we have, the less focused they will be on love and tolerance.

Monday, 26-Mar-12 01:37:24 UTC from web
        1. @dlcentaur "love and tolerance" is like the word "troll." Everyone uses it and knows about it, but noone who does knows what it means or its origins.

Monday, 26-Mar-12 01:40:57 UTC from web
          1. @policeman Well, I don't mean Troll when I say Love and Tolerance, I mean what I say and I say what I mean.

Monday, 26-Mar-12 01:42:09 UTC from web
            1. @dlcentaur That's the thing, though. There are so many interpretations of "love and tolerance" that it's lost it's meaning. it doesn't apply anymore.

              1. @policeman Hmm, I see what you mean. How I interpret it is pretty much how Pinkie Pie says it. I want to make you smile :) And by Tolerate I mean I'll accept anyone to herd so long as they are respectful. :P

                1. @dlcentaur however you want to interpret it at this point is up to you. It's a phrase lost to the annals of internet time.

    11. @ponydude I don't like change. I thank Celestia or whatever every day that I strongly believe in "a good apple in every bunch" philosophy, though. On one end, I love the fandom as it grows because it creates more content and presents more opportunity, but I hate it because I believe they represent themselves poorly by drawing from all of their backgrounds and ignoring everything pre-established. Either way, I'm still here ain't I?
