ah im cherriesed off now just washed and waxed my car went to start it and it just beeps at me wtf!

@xgsymarley Any of the dasboard indicators flashing? What model of car is it?

@ceruleanspark Honda civic 160 5-door hatchback. Everytime I turn the key the engine does not start, it just beeps at me...Nothing new shows up on the dashboard that has not been there befor.

@xgsymarley I ask because on some cars, they play beep-codes or flash the CEL in a pattern that you can look up online to find out what the problem is without needing a mechanic.

@ceruleanspark I looked in the book that I got with my car and it says nothing about beeping when starting it.

@xgsymarley Yeah, the codes are meant for mechanics, rather than end users, so they're not in the manual. The other thing you could try is disconecting the battery and letting it stand for a little while, then hooking it back up.

@ceruleanspark I will just get the guy that sold it to me to check it hes a mechanic so he sould know. Got it off him for £200.
