@nerthos Oh. Just saying because a year back before I sold my build, I had the ATI 5970 and if I kept my door closed while playing anything, I would be sweating buckets.

@renovatedkitchen Any room gets swealtering if the air circulation is bad, my PC has great cooling but if the door is closed for a while the air gets stale and really warm
-
@jdaapplesy Well, with the door open and playing battlefield, I would have to open the window mid winter (we never have the house really warm to start with) if I wanted to play for over 45 min.

@jdabananasy It made my room temperature go from 22 celcius to 31 in 45 min.

@renovatedkitchen I'm using a 6870, it barely heats, even with the cat sleeping on top of the CPU.

@nerthos 6870! #brohoof! I use the same card in my new build. Great bang for the buck. Well, I have the 6850 flashed to be a 6870.

@renovatedkitchen It seems everyone likes the 6870. At least 4 people here has or wants one.

@nerthos You really cant go wrong with it. Amazing performance, uses very little electricity and creates very little heat
