For equality reasons please reveal your sexual preference so that we can more accurately discriminate against you.

@ceruleanspark wow
-
@bronyzackwrath1234 They normally have a box for your race too, so they can judge you based on that.
-
@ceruleanspark that doesn't seem right at all
-
@bronyzackwrath1234 I always try to avoid filling them out if I can, but it's increasingly hard when almost every job application wants to know this stuff. What business of theirs who I go home too anyway?
-
@ceruleanspark Don't forget religion!
-
@ceruleanspark Think of it this way: Employing someone who's homosexual in a place full of homophobic people can lead to discrimination sues and stress to both parts, as an example.
-
@nerthos but its still illegal to discriminate based on sexual prefrence. they would have to find a different reason to fire them.
-
@nerthos I'd love to see that example the other way around, a homophobic person in a work place of Homosexual's.. That could prove interesting
-
@ceruleanspark ok.... Serious inquiry of you don't mind me asking... Obviously I've seen your photos when I made the "holy mangoes you're actually Robert Carlyle!" remark. Therefore i could tell you were white/british. But obviously your second name confused me, are you mixed race that ended up with predominantly white genes? Or was there a name change? If you don't mind the question
-
@mrdragon The guy would probably just leave the job.
-
@mrdragon Especially if all the gays start hitting on the homophobe.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@redenchilada they wouldn't however as that would be sexual harassment in the workplace. boom problem solved.
-
@polocatfan In a workplace controlled by the state, it's ok to apply regulation laws. In a private enterprise, the owner has the right to decide.
-
@redenchilada That, I would pay top see @nerthos I don't know.. some homophobes are really serious about their cause.
-
@mrdragon That could be a sitcom xD
-
@redenchilada In my experience, that's the most fun way to stop homophobic bullying.
-
@nerthos they changed the laws again. thats stupid
-
@polocatfan ...And that's supposed to stop them?
-
@mrdragon Maybe, but they could be fired with a reason.
-
@polocatfan What's stupid?
-
@nerthos I'm doing it as a joke, don't take it to serious, I know all about reasons to fire. I was a manager of a large store. I was just saying in a joke environment it would be amusing
-
@mrdragon True xD
-
@nerthos they should not be able to discriminate based on gender, sexual preference, race, religion, and some other stuff I don't remember
-
@polocatfan One person's rights ends where it collides with another person's rights. Everyone is entitled to decide to who to give their money, with the reasons they like. If I own a factory, and don't want to employ someone because he likes john lennon, I'm in full right to employ someone else in his place.
-
@polocatfan Well discriminating based on RELIGION could get through on a technicality that their beliefs are offensive, simply put; Islam teaches homosexuality is outright sin and should be punished by death (throwing gays from mountains to be precise) so refusing to employ a muslim on the ground that they are homophobic.... Isn't without some sense
-
@purplephish20 Or in a pork based products enterprise!
-
@nerthos A Muslim would refuse to work there... Simply put...
-
@purplephish20 BUT WHAT IF HE'S DRUNK
- likes this. -
@nerthos He wouldn't be, all alcohol is strictly permabanned in Islam
-
@purplephish20 But he's a weak willed muslim!
-
@purplephish20 HOW CAN YOU BE SO RACIST
-
@nerthos Not racist, the phrase you were implying was "islamapobic"
-
@purplephish20 HOW CAN YOU BE SO SILLYSTUFFHATING
-
@nerthos "Agnostic"
-
@purplephish20 I'm agnostic too, but do you see me hating silly stuff?
-
@nerthos Did you for a second see me "hating"? I merely pointed out that under Islamic law, homosexuality is punishable by death
-
@purplephish20 You were hating weak willed alcoholic muslims!
-
@nerthos I wonder if they like mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmbananas?
-
@purplephish20 oh no, oh no, I'm just gonna go, bye
-
@purplephish20 I don't think they have bananas. Back to the original point, those laws are there for the same reason the poligamy is allowed: To mantain a strong and big society. Men marry and protect many women, to have multiple children, since men die in wars and due to the harsh conditions of work, and women aren't allowed to leave alone the house so they cannot be stolen. In modern times, these things are seen as evil and drastic, but some hundred of years ago, those laws kept the society strong in times of war. And war was common for muslims, as it is today, since their lands are always involved in one or other conflict.
-
@nerthos i have a feeling thats a generalization and wrong, but im too lazy to back up my ideas.
