@purplephish20 why does everyone do this whole 'i feel old' thing when they're just approaching their third decade. i'm 20 and I've heard people at Uni moan about getting old over and over. there's a 25 year old who constantly says she can't believe she's a quarter of a century old. then there's the 36 year old father of two who is just like 'ah well, age happens'

@trister age is a thing that just happens. No complaining will change that.

@renovatedkitchen i agree entirely. and anyway, growing old may be mandatory but growing up certainly isn't.

@renovatedkitchen in a way, yeah. but that doesn't stop people for telling me about how immature i'm being. I have taken to sharing some of that quote by... C. S. Lewis i think, the one that was in the popular notices for a good while.

@trister I tend to shake them off. Unless they continuously nag me about it. Then the assertiveness kicks in and overpowers them with wit.
