            @redenchilada Dang. I didn't even remember that was a rule. That kinda sucks, though I can see why they'd want to do that, given the few who do make it that far have to potentially travel halfway across the world to take part in the final round.

                  @spectrumscramble After some research, it seems the Quebec government taxes any sort of contest winnings. Google apparently doesn't allow this so they just excluded Quebec from the contest. Blegh.
