  1. !vancouverbronies Hey guys. I'm curious as to why we don't have a facebook group as well as a RDN group. I know Abbotsford has a FB group, and most other provinces do as well. Is there a reason for this? I would be pretty happy to see one pop up for event planning and networking reasons

    1. @tjdetweiler !bcbronies Lots of people don't like Facebook. One reason I specifically don't like Facebook for planning this stuff is that there are a LOT of subtle/secret/private bronies, and when planning on FB, either everything's too public and we'll scare off the shy people or everything's too private and we won't be discovered by external newcomers. This is an internally-contained place where people can plan brony stuff. Feel free to make a group if you want and link it in here a few times, but I'd like this to remain the main source for meetups and planning, or at the very least I'd like all plans for such to be mentioned on here.

      1. @bronymike I can understand that for sure. My main reasoning was that we could plan events outside of the saturday meetups easier, but I don't know how well it would work what with people trying to be private and whatnot.

      2. @bronymike !vancouverbronies While I see your point, there are also a lot of bronies on FB who were desperately seeking out other bronies... who happen to not be on RDN. I did not know this existed until the article on ED!
