  1. I'm a bit torn about Tinker's essay. I completely agree that these kinds of slurs and language should be avoided for public relations things like BronyCon, but I also feel that this kind of language has it's place on non-PG rated shows like Mulberry's Circle Jerk. (The title should be enough to warn anyone that harsh language and questionable content are on the show.) *sigh* I am involved in the queer community, but I don't find homophobic or transphobic slurs to be particularly offense when said in jest, except as part of serious communications with the public. (For instance, I'm fine with Mulberry saying "The BronyTV guys are gaying up my circlejerk."
