!vancouverbronies What does everpony think of having a camera set up to record the audience reactions at the finale viewing? I think it would make an interesting video.

@tesla500 I can bring my camera, which some of you have seen during one of the meetups, if there is commitment. (I warn everyone, they shoot news and TV shows with the kind of camera I'm about to bring.)
-
@tesla500 !vancouverbronies Forgot to tag the group... But I'd be willing to offer my camera to record reactions. (Fair warning, they shoot news and TV shows with the type of camera I own: https://plus.google.com/photos/105015426988363437606/albums/5699971803470853761/5699971807731889090 )

@jackzhang Wait, camera they use to film news? Does that warning mean we're all gonna wind up looking like super-autistic fat manchildren? Is there a "Fox News" on/off switch?
-
@bronymike I've already used it for a news story on the fandom. All the on-location footage in this news story was shot with my camera in this news story that made EQD's Nightly Roundup a while back: http://youtu.be/f1dj_Zl8T74
-
@bronymike Instant fail, just add Fox News :P
-
@bronymike The warning is just for the professionalness of the camera. Some people could think that media are attending the event, when it's just I own a very professional camera.
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies I've got a camera and tripod I can bring. How do we go about telling people or asking if they're OK with being recorded? Just announce it at the beginning? Perhaps we could have a section of seats that won't be in view in case some people don't want to be seen in the video. @jackzhang How is your camera in low light? The room will likely be quite dark. I don't think the size of the camera will be too much of a problem.
-
@tesla500 !vancouverbronies It is VERY GOOD in low light as long as it isn't pitch black. Where all consumer cameras will catch grain, mine catches 1/2 to 1/3 the amount of noise with the same exposure level. If it is near pitch black, there really won't be any way to avoid noise, but mine will do a better job.
-
@jackzhang !vancouverbronies If you could bring your camera that would be great. It isn't too much trouble is it?
-
!bcbronies @tesla500 We're gonna have the second screening either way, I figure. Looks like some people can only come to the later one, so it's the nicest option. We've got the room for that long anyway, so why not. @jackzhang Have you also got a tripod or something, so you don't have to stand up and face the opposite direction of the projection for the whole time? Heh.
-
@tesla500 !vancouverbronies No, I'll probably be using it at Fan Expo for a bit and then go to the screening.
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies Yes, I have a tripod. But if it rains, my raincover for my backpack can't fit the tripod. In that case, I'll hand hold it outside and attach it to the backpack inside.
